This is one of the (many) reasons why I don't use a flash. The plastic motion ofher body, you can see visually how she occupies more space than merely the volume of her flesh.

I see so much beauty on the dancefloor, it hurts. Not just beauty of form, but of setting, motion and space. Beats the living sh*t out of some plastic bag tumbling in the wind.

Most of the dancefloor pix didn't turn out, because of poor lighting or very fast motion (duh, they're dancing). Eventually I got the idea of "hitching a ride" with the flashing lights pointed at the dancefloor.

Another "hitching a ride" shot of the dancefloor. It gets the notion across of how the music sweeps you up and fogs your awareness of people around you.... or maybe I'm just wanking here for a picture that could never be in focus without a flash.

I like the "feel" of this shot. Gives a nice danse floor impression.
