Colour like this is why I don't use a flash. Good-looking women like Corrin is one of the reasons why I carry a camera.

She looks like some random maiden ahppily warming up in the firey pits of hell... (Daylight film will do that in incandasecent lighting situations, and it's SOOOO pretty here)

What you can't see here is that Nicole is wearing a terrific corset patterened with circut diagrams. The people around her were doubly impressed by the appropriateness of the corset and the woman wearing it.

Hell, I was so impressed I started dating her. :)

Getting a shot of the DJs in action is a real bitch; the booths tend to be lit only on the table surfaces so the DJ can see better. Fross remembers that I have a camera, and he actually volunteered to step out of the booth to pose for a shot. I hope he likes it.

Most of the dancefloor pix didn't turn out, because of poor lighting or very fast motion (duh, they're dancing). Eventually I got the idea of "hitching a ride" with the flashing lights pointed at the dancefloor.

Another "hitching a ride" shot of the dancefloor. It gets the notion across of how the music sweeps you up and fogs your awareness of people around you.... or maybe I'm just wanking here for a picture that could never be in focus without a flash.

I like the "feel" of this shot. Gives a nice danse floor impression.

The pool table was the best lighting in the place. I waited in the hallway between dancefloors, watching everyone for the right "look". I saw it, so I reached out out to her and asked politely if she would model for me. You have to see this large to really get it.

Bah. Good idea, but it's all stll too dark. Looks fine on my home monitor, but I've got tweaked gamma settings. Must try this idea again.

Same idea as c8_I15. I waited, watched, found someone and asked politely. He was playful, and posed sexy for the camera... but the shadow his body casts drowned out his torso. Ragelabs did offer to visit me in Toronto so we could try again...

I wonder what the body would have looked like...
