La Maison Hauntee. Where "service with a smile" means a death's head grin. Seriously, very impressive theatre. I recommend it to anyone who's in Montreal.

Every two or three tables had a unique ghost serving them. They were dead, mad, insane, a pastry chef or otherwise damned. This highlander died dishonourably in an act of treason, I think. Part of the dinner was puzzling from your ghost why they were damned.

Not all ghosts served the tables. Some wraiths bussed tables, and there were a few evil spirits that would wander and harrass the mortal victims patrons. There were a small number that performed onstage for the amusement of their lord.

This particular spirit was a Chineese mandarin, still blessed with remarkable powers of balance. He stacked three sheets of pexiglass with four oil lamps each, and at the bidding of the jester he bowed, laid down and spun without spilling anything.
