Random starsystems and slipstream connections for a game of Diaspora role-playing game, a hard-sci-fi game using the FATE system. This is more of an exercise for my programing, or something pretty to look at.
Ideally, each player (including the GM) takes at least one world and that player rolls the dice for stats and comes up with aspects for that starsystem. Systems have three stats (technology level, habitable environment, resources/wealth) rated from -4 to +4, and two or more 'aspects' (catchphrases, quotes, widely-known facts) that can be used by players in positive or negative ways.
