SPECTRAL HANDS: Anything Boone can see, that she could move with her hands, she can move with her mind. Pretty basic stuff. Range is about 30 metres. May be sustained with successful PSYCHIC tests without spending another PSY POINT, unless you fail. Then the object drops (say for example you were using SPECTRAL HANDS to move a dangerous substance for more than one screen. Threshold 10.
TELEPATHY: Allows you to read the surface thoughts of a character. They are generally not aware of this. Threshold 10

HEAL: You close the surface wounds of a character of your choice. Heals 20% of their maximum health per casting. Less effective on the heavily mechanized Threshold 7

FLASHBANG: A support skill. If Boone uses FLASHBANG during a battle then her team members get a free attack in addition to the round that just played. Theoretically, as long as Boone keeps casting FLASHBANG, opponents will never get a chance to hit back. Threshold 6

To do psychic rolls: 1d10+5
8's or 9's mean pheomena, due to the psy-hood's upgrade also weakening the veil slightly.

However, rolling an 8 will never escalate to perils.

This session is a good one for questions, as its kinda low content.

We were on our way back to the diner, having an idea of what buttons to hit to try to solve that jukevox puzzle. Hopefully to get the Krieger on the team so we can have a viable way forward.

We're trying to find a way into SAPP's fortress, we have a couple leads concerning that (climbing the communications tower, demolitioning our way in?).
Most of the team is outside of this mining facility, we have some holding out here to deal with the regenerating heretek and punching in codes as we discover them.


TOULLEMONDE, conciders the information. he suggests that he and LEOKADIA stay here to secure the base and punch in codes, and that C-16, LOCKE and LOWRY rendevous with the others at the CRASH SITE.

He thinks the DINER is the best course of action for you, given the circumstances.

He also cracks his neck a little.

This is correct!
The JUKEVOX opens and gives you its only undamaged AUDIO CARTRIDGE. You are unable to play it conventially but it has a code written on it.

If the sniper moves from the DINER, can they still assist us in combats on the map, from our basecamp? Or is it not a high enough position? If we can, should take them with us after we finish the jukevox puzzle.


GWIZDEK will only move from the DINER to go to the COMM TOWER. Although she will indeed do that, if it is suggested.

Its no coincidence that the code matches the Kriegsmarine song on the GOOGLE. I say Yaroslava belts out some lyrics to make nice if we can't find a way to play the tape.

She hold you at arms length, and replaces her mask. She says she will join you if you wish, but needs some time alone to collect herself, and get her fight face back.

YAROSLAVA suggests we step out and kill more soldiers to pass the time. MYERS adds that if you're gonna trade him out, he'd like one more crack at the soldiers also.

I have been uncommon busy, lately, but I figured at least this way we could get these two small events out of the way.

NOW:
I will probably not be doing BOONEQUEST in December, as I'm likely going to be even busier. I'll be lucky to get the calender page done (hope I do though)

BUT: This means I might have time to finally update the guide to the game, and it means that the ADMECH TEMPLE should be good to go, along with any sprites I need for team mate switches.

Letting you know now, RAEGE will never leave your party, but occupies no slots. This also means you can't control her actions, but she is open to suggestion.

More on that later.

Now is a GREAT time to ask questions, get sketches and choose your new team!

One of Boone's psyker powers should be to enlarge other womens' boobs.


That's biomancy, and even then, they can only do it to themselves not other people. It's why I dont worry about drawing Cuddle's figure with any consistancy. Well, less than others anyways. Everyone seems to be open to variation, but I'm trying to iron it out.

Yep, same dude.

Hard to beat the current combo, for combat and what not. Trying to track down other characters abilities. Myers is just all around useful for the init bonus, loadout and his pointing out stuff. Without the regular SAPP dudes we don't have to worry as much traveling around...but we don't know what kinda horrors await in the temple.

That said its cool to mix up the party with so many interesting characters, if only for dialogue. With RAEGE on board it kinda lightens the necessity for combat badassery so we might be more flexible in terms of who we take.

Would people like a brief(ish) rundown on what characters can offer you?

Hokay, let's see what I can remember:

TOULLEMONDE: Power sword, inferno pistol, tactical brilliance, takes no damage when hit at range, but might teleport to a random location (displacer field)
DANEEL: accurate shooting, good at talking to women, good with languages and social abilities. Poor close combat, comparatively.
MILLY: Devestating AOE ranged attacks, and big hitpoints, can reliably stun opponents when in a support roll, strong unarmed combat when needed, carries various grenades, excellent mind more certain types of physics. Friendly!
NEL: Technically brilliant, and knows the planet but does not fight. Solves tech puzzles.
IACOBUS: Good melee, healing bonus, once per session, avoid perils, low armor
GATO: close combat monster, decent ranged, +2 initiative bonus, keen senses
C-16: Best melee in game, no ranged, high hitpoints, very keen senses, devestating musou attack
MINHELM: Excellent all-rounder and a font of combat advice, good for coercing the unhelpful, carries some useful items, potentially.

NEUNENHOFF: devestating accuracy, decent armor and good for tactical advice, +3 initiative bonus
LOCKE: Excellent tech skills, good melee, wields a shotgun pistol. Not very co-operative.
LEOKADIA: stub pistol, some tech, medical intern knowledge. has TECH POWERS that allow her to float, ot blast lightning or heal herself. Used to work at the ADMECH TEMPLE briefly
JACOBI: Punishing and wide spread combat damage, decent armor, allows for looting bodies and spotting hidden items.
MYERS: Awesome close combat, excellent armor, with built in sensors and heat detectors, +5 int bonus. Good at riddles.
YAROSLAVA: Best ranged attack in the game. Good hp and armor. One hit kill attacks. Capable of STRENGTH feats.

uuuh...

RAEGE: Devestating melee attacks, refractor shield, carries a plasma pistol (not much ammo) but will switch to an AUTOPISTOL once that's empty. The AUTOPISTOL hits every enemy (her first volley misses if you lose initiative, though) and does mid range damage. probably does other cool shit. Iunno.

WHo did I miss?

Keep in mind some teams will work better than others. YAROSLAVA and MILLY get along well, and might have combo attacks.

Conversely, a team of C-16 and YAROSLAVA would actually incur a slight int minus. Because they're kind of..you know..

MYER can safely switch with LEOKADIA and keep TOULLEMONDE company.

GWIZDEK, having bionic eyes, in addition to her existing skill, is a truly exceptional sniper, and manages to work without a spotter.

Her close combat abilities are lacking, though. If she survives, perhaps we will learn more?

I can tell you (whether you believe me or not is up to you) that there is unlikely to be any tech puzzles that challenge you much in the next episode. Either option is good, and carries with it disadvantages and advantages that present themselves.

It MIGHT be unwise to drag around someone who curls into a ball everytime there is combat while there is a commissar around, although I imagine she'd be lenient. Just kind of unimpressed. It's weird how this game has gone actually.

There is a path you could have gone down that would have given you a totally easy choice, but that's kind of the fun of it!

I dunno, dubious about that rewards comment earlier. Nel's not part of the military(?) so would imagine leniency would be the case BUT are citizens held to the same level of courage and faith in the Emprah? NEL and LOCKE are more tech savvy than LEO?
Half the fun I get when GMing stuff is seeing how my group handles the situations, always entertaining.

NEL is good with larger vehicles, LOCKE is good with primary syatems and engines, LEOKADIA is more into the medical sciences.

LOCKE can talk to servitors better, but LEO can analyse chemicals. It's all a matter of what you think is useful.

I'm busy with my jobs, which is good for money - which is good, but I don't have time for much else.

I'm playing a little BLOODBOWL on the tabletop (my associate, DOOMRIDER (not that he trips here anymore) built a field for it with stands, beer kegs and a magnetic scoreboard. It's balla) but even then I aint played it in ages.

I assure you all, the free time I have is being put towards drawing good stuff. Like Hoop. if I had time to being playing games, I'd be drawing more Hoop. Or tits.

Well as awesome as Hoop and Tits (or Tits in Hoop) are, don't run yourself too ragged.


No issues there. 50 or so hours a week seems like a lot but I have had worse. I mean, i found the time to start brewing mead as well, so if anything I think I just need to improve my time management a little more.

Right on, things get busy around here for me and my groups during the holidays but we get into some Mordheim this season. Got a bunch of terrain and gantry ways for it, nothing better than playing on a nice tabletop. People are bugging me to run 40k RP, got time for it since I'm unemployed atm.

Hoop was based on games you were involved in though right? If you don't have time for that I enjoyed the 'people wanted to know' stuff recently.

LOCKE and NEL is a bad choice, I think. If you need any solid combat or muscle, you'd be a little screwed. Raege is pretty strong I guess, but if you pack TWO nerds, she's gonna be working over time.

Then again, you CAN heal her, I guess.
